We started the server because the number of good clean servers have been disappearing. The Timeless servers are pretty good, but for us in the USA, their latency is not very good. Games Having Fun servers are excellent, but they don't run battlerecorder and their clan has grown so fast, it's hard to find an admin when you need one. Regardless, it's still a great place to go for some clean play. The BMH server is pretty new and not bad, but it's Camp Gibralter only, and we wanted something a little more rounded. The MOFC and Z servers are not bad, though MOFC members seem overzealous in calling everybody a hacker and Z frequently is populated by a bunch of no-good idlers.
I'm sure we'll have our own problems in time.
Our goal is fair, cheat-free play. We run battlerecorder too, something many servers simply do not do. In fact, if our battlerecorder download times are too slow, we'll be willing to offset that to another download server to keep it running. BR is important to us.
